The Fiat Commercial Vehicles brand continues to grow.
A few figures from 2006 prove the point: 369,000 commercial vehicles sold throughout the world, including over 100,000 in Italy, where the brand's leadership is reinforced. The Ducato accounted for 31% of Fiat sales in 2006, closely followed by the Doblò Cargo with 28%.
The New Ducato, launched in 2006, has helped to consolidate the success of this remarkable vehicle: it features a distinctive, cutting edge look, the highest levels of comfort and performance, an outstanding range of telematic and safety equipment, low running costs, the highest possible Thatcham safety rating, 17 full Kasko class insurance cover, and countless acknowledgements from the international press as the best vehicle for free-time conversions.
In the same year, the Doblò Cargo claimed the prestigious 'International Van of the Year 2006' award, thanks to its all-new design, increased loading capacity and volume, the new long-wheelbase versions and its outstanding Multijet diesel engines, in addition to the environmentally-friendly Natural Power version.
Completing the successes of recent years, 2007 saw the arrival of the New Scudo, combining the performance, handling and comfort of a car with the loading capacity, easy-loading, reliability and profitability you would expect of a commercial vehicle.
The New Scudo inherited and improved upon all the strengths of the previous model, and also offered a complete range of passenger transport vehicles .
